"The first step to action towards what could be then, is awareness of what is today.
According to wikiHow, Blueprints are 2-dimensional architectural design drawings that indicate the size of a planned building, the materials to be used in its construction, and the placement of its features, the layout, etc all put together. Learning to read blueprints is essential not only for construction workers but also for the people who hire architects to draft them. Similarly everyone has a blueprint to do anything consistently. It’s in the subconscious. Millionaires have a millionaire blueprint. Billionaires have a billionaire blueprint. Fitness enthusiasts have a fitness blueprint. For getting fit and staying fit, you too need a blueprint. It’s more like a mindset that one needs to have. It’s a prerequisite to get fit and a prerequisite to stay fit. So our focus would be in getting your mind in shape. But these days, we guys, focus only on just doing something, coz someone has told you to do so, without having to be bothered about our making an effort towards having a mindset. Not having the mindset in place, is like a leakage in the fuel tank of a rocket propulsion engine. As the rocket takes off, you can visualize the fuel coming out of the leakage in fuel tank. Slowly the rocket loses steam and eventually nosedives.
Blueprints serve as an effective reference point too. They help the construction workers stay on track and check whether they are moving in the right direction. Similarly a blueprint about fitness, is what you ought to have, so even if you are thrown off guard then you can ‘refer’ (a psychological connotation) to it and get back on track.
Blueprints of buildings are physical but blueprints of fitness are programmed in one’s subconscious.
Hey, but no one’s perfect. Everyone deviates. After all we are humans. But our blueprints help us get back on track. It’s like how we navigate the road of life based on what we see, hear, believe, desire and experience. All of these together help us shape who we are and that’s why essentially your identity sits at the core of your blueprint.
Please don’t expect me to give you a quick-tip-to-get-fit-in-one-week recipe here coz let’s face it there is no such thing. That’s all bullshit. That’s all hoax to attract your attention. Maybe by YouTubers of today to get views or to get likes etc etc. I am not here to flaunt anything but am here to help, 'coz that's the core of my vision – To make fitness a part of the minutiae of your everyday life.
Creating a Blueprint: THE EFFORT - What it Takes?
We somehow try to believe that one blueprint fits all but no. A blueprint is unique to an individual. That’s why you formulate your own blueprint. You are the architect of your life. You design it. But you can’t get anything merely by sitting ducks. You need to work towards it. And formulating a blueprint and sticking to one requires work. That can be avoided. Whether it means getting up early morning or going late for workouts, whether it means eating timely and eating right - be it at parties or at office or home. Whether it means – people making fun of you and you being an outcast or not et al, all is about your very own blueprint coz you made it.
The Blueprint is made by concoction of happening of the following:
1. Whipping the Bad habits - The Four Approaches,
2. Eliminating Excuses and self-limiting beliefs,
3. Awareness and ignorance of the Seven Myths,
4. Taking cognizance of the seven virtues – what they dont teach you.
5. Make the choice of what you do – Action
6. The blueprint of eating right
Discipline is and shall be the outcome of this blueprint. Stay tuned as I break each of them one by one, The Fitness Blueprint – Revealed.
