ABOUT

Dear Reader,

Most people don’t struggle with knowing what to do.

They struggle with doing it consistently.

I’ve always been curious about that gap.

Why do we start strong and fade out?
Why does motivation disappear?
Why does something as simple as taking care of our health feel so difficult to sustain?

That curiosity is what led me to explore behaviour—not just fitness.

Over time, I began to realise that most advice focuses on intensity, pushing harder, doing more, staying disciplined.

But sustainable change rarely works that way.

Today, I write about behaviour, habits, and the psychology behind sustainable fitness—not as a set of instructions, but as an exploration of how we think, decide, and act.

The essays on this website ask those questions one at a time.

Honey, It's Not About Six-Pack Abs brings them together into one behavioural framework.

If you’ve ever struggled with consistency, I hope you'll find something here that resonates

MY JOURNEY
From chasing outcomes to understanding behaviour.

For a long time, I believed the answer was discipline.

Work harder. Push more. Stay motivated.

Then life interrupted that story.

After running my own restaurant business for nearly a decade, I experienced what it feels like when effort alone isn't enough. Watching something you've built slowly fall apart changes the questions you ask.

Instead of asking, "How do people become successful?" I began asking, "Why do people keep repeating patterns they know aren't serving them?"

That question led me beyond fitness and into behaviour, habits, identity, and the psychology behind sustainable change.

Today, I write essays that explore those questions—not as someone with all the answers, but as someone still curious enough to keep asking them.

WHAT I WRITE ABOUT
These four collections form the foundation of my ongoing exploration into behaviour, identity, and sustainable fitness.

Behaviour & Consistency

Essays exploring why people struggle with follow-through, how habits form, and what turns knowledge into action.

Identity &
Self-Control

The values, motivations, and inner conflicts that quietly shape long-term behaviour.

Mental Models & Decision Psychology

How we think, learn, and make decisions in an increasingly complex world.

Culture & Fitness Industry

Essays examining the stories, trends, and assumptions that shape modern health culture.

THE BOOK
Where these questions become a framework

Many of the questions I kept returning to eventually became a book.

Honey, It's Not About Six-Pack Abs! explores a four-stage behavioural framework for building lasting health—not by chasing perfection, but by understanding the psychology behind consistency.

If the essays explore individual ideas, the book brings them together into one connected framework.
